How It Works

Events. Computed via Skyfield + JPL DE440 ephemeris. 10 outer-planet pairs × 4 aspect families + retrograde stations for 8 planets. Range: 1871-01-01 → 2050-12-31. Total: 4,196 events.
Forward returns. For each event date, return = close(t + horizon)/close(t) − 1 across four horizons: 21d (1m), 63d (3m), 126d (6m), 252d (12m).
Statistic. Median forward return at horizon vs a baseline of 20,000 randomly-selected start dates from the asset's full price history.
Permutation test. 10,000 shuffled samples of the same size as the real event set. Raw p = fraction of shuffles where |shuffled median| ≥ |actual median|.
FDR correction. Benjamini-Hochberg adjustment applied across all 1,728 tests (8 assets × 54 event classes × 4 horizons). The p_fdr column is the headline — p_fdr < 0.05 means the signal survives the full multiple-comparisons correction. Headline result: 0 of 1,728 tests pass FDR<0.05.
Reading the table. A low p_raw with p_fdr = 1.000 means the raw pattern is plausible by chance once the search space is accounted for. The most interesting raw hits (SPY · Ju-Pl Cnj 3m +5.3%, n=16; SPY · Ju-Ur Cnj 3m +4.4%) still collapse under correction.

Sex · Sextile · 60° / 300°

60-degree angle; considered a minor harmonious aspect. Opportunity and ease. Lower amplitude than the hard aspects. Marker: diamond.
